COVID-19 Information
Our practice is fully compliant with all Department of Health requirements including an up to date COVID Safe Plan. The health, safety and wellbeing of all patients and practitioners is our highest priority. Accordingly:
- You will be asked a series of health screening questions prior to your appointment.
- All patients and visitors are required to sanitise their hands upon entry.
- Additional cleaning and disinfectant measures are in place.
- Practitioners will follow PPE requirements for allied health settings.
- Practitioners and contractors are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Facemasks must be worn during all treatments.
If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or are unwell you must not attend the clinic. If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, please get tested today.

You should bring with you any Xrays, CT or other scans, and any medical reports related to your condition.
Because osteopaths take an individual approach to care it is not possible to say exactly how long your consultation will take. Consultations involve history taking, physical examination, and treatment. Initial consultations may take more time to allow your osteopath to obtain a detailed medical history.
We endeavour to ensure our appointments are on time 95% of the time. Being on time also requires a commitment from our clients to arrive on time for their appointments- if you are late you may inconvenience every client after you and it may be necessary to reschedule latecomers.
We respect our clients' time and ask you to respect ours. If you are unable to attend, we ask you for the courtesy of at least 4 hours notice, so we can offer the time to someone else. A fee will be charged for appointments not kept, or cancelled with insufficient notice.
With the federal government initiative under Medicare Plus, patients with chronic conditions may be referred by their GP for osteopathic treatment under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan. Your GP can advise whether this is appropriate for you. More information is available at the Medicare website http://www.medicareaustralia.gov.au
Partial rebates are available for patients with private health cover with ancillary or "extras" cover, but the amount of rebate and the conditions vary from insurer to insurer, so check the details of your policy.
You do not need a referral as osteopaths are primary care practitioners. Simply book online or call us on (03) 9375 3193 to make an appointment.
